Après deux ans de tournée et de travail acharné dans sa province natale comme à l’étranger, Matt Holubowski annonce la mise en marché européenne de son deuxième album Solitudes. Le disque sera lancé le 18 mai en Allemagne, Suisse et Autriche par le label berlinois Motor Musik, et en France et Belgique par le label nantais Yotanka.

Depuis sa sortie en 2016, cette remarquable collection de onze chansons remporte un vif succès critique et s’est écoulé à plus de trente-cinq mille copies au Canada. La tournée du même nom ne cesse de s’allonger avec plus de 130 prestations en moins de deux ans, incluant de multiples supplémentaires partout au Québec et des passages remarqués à Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa, New York, Paris, Hambourg et bien d’autres.

Matt Holubowski ira à la rencontre de son public européen cette semaine : il s’envole pour la France et présentera son spectacle aux Printemps de Bourges ce vendredi 27 avril. Après un spectacle le 6 mai lors d’une des fameuses Communion Night de Londres, il se produira en première partie de l’artiste américain Ben Folds lors de sa tournée européenne, qui le mènera en Angleterre, Allemagne, Belgique, Pays-Bas et France. L’été de Matt s’annonce chargé avec des prestations dans plusieurs festivals d’envergure dont Bonnaroo, Osheaga, Regina Folk Fest, et le Meltdown à Londres, grâce à l’invitation de Robert Smith (The Cure).

EPILOGUE en vinyle
Lancé dans le cadre du Record Store Day samedi dernier, Epilogue présente les trois chansons du EP lancé en septembre dernier, ainsi que la pièce Solitudes, jusqu’ici introuvable en format vinyle. After two years of touring and hard work in his home province and abroad, Matt Holubowski announces the release of his second album Solitudes in Europe. Matt Holubowski returns to his European audience this week : he is playing Printemps de Bourges this Friday, April 27^th. Following a show at the London Communion Night on June 6^th, he will be opening for American artist Ben Folds for the whole duration of his European tour, which will take him to England, Germany, Belgium, Holland and France. Matt’s summer is fully loaded with performances at several major festivals including Bonnaroo, Osheaga, Regina Folk Fest, and the Meltdown in London, by invitation of The Cure’s Robert Smith.

EPILOGUE on vinyl
Launched last Saturday as part of the Record Store Day, Epilogue presents all three songs from last September’s EP, as well as Solitudes, a song not recorded on vinyl format until now. There are still a few in-store copies of this limited edition 10 “vinyl record – the perfect opportunity to visit your local record store.
