Matt Holubowski nous offre Solitudes (Epilogue), une version bonifiée de son album Solitudes, disponible dès aujourd’hui en versions numérique et CD édition limitée.

Cet album ‘deluxe’ comprend l’intégrale du disque Solitudes ainsi qu’Epilogue, un EP de trois chansons. Deux de ces pièces ont été composées cet été : The Weatherman (or, The Felonies are Magnets on my Coat) et  Nostalgiablue tandis que Dawn, She Woke Me était présentée exclusivement en spectacle, mais jamais parue sur disque.

C’est aux studios Madame Wood & Dandurand que Matt Holubowski s’est entouré des collaborateurs qui le suivent en tournée : Stéphane Bergeron (batterie, percussions), Marc-André Landry (basse), Simon Angell (guitare, omnichord, orgue, wurlitzer), Marianne Houle (violoncelle, ukulele) et Christian-Adam Gilbert à la prise de son. Les chansons prennent vie aussi grâce à l’apport de Julie Boivin (violon), Sarah Martineau (alto) ainsi que Connor Seidel à la réalisation. Mathilde Corbeil a renouvelé son travail graphique sur la pochette.

Deux nominations au Gala de l’ADISQ
Matt Holubowski a récolté ses premières nominations au Gala de l’ADISQ dans les catégories Album de l’année – Anglophone et Spectacle de l’année – Anglophone. Les prix seront remis le 26 octobre prochain lors du Premier gala de l’ADISQ sur les ondes de Télé-Québec.

Matt Holubowski presents Solitudes (Epilogue), an extended version of his album Solitudes, available today on all digital platforms and as a limited edition CD.

This ‘deluxe’ record includes the complete Solitudes in addition to Epilogue, an EP of three songs. Two of them were composed this summer: The Weatherman (or, The Felonies are Magnets on my Coat) and Nostalgiablue, while Dawn, She Woke Me was known to those that have seen the show, but never appeared on disc.

In Montreal’s studios Madame Wood & Dandurand, Matt Holubowski was surrounded by his faithful tour-mates: Stéphane Bergeron (drums, percussion), Marc-André Landry (bass), Simon Angell (guitar, omnichord, organ, wurlitzer), Marianne Houle (cello, ukulele) and Christian-Adam Gilbert (sound recording). The songs come to life also thanks to Julie Boivin (violin), Sarah Martineau (viola) and the producer Connor Seidel. It is Mathilde Corbeil that once again designed this updated album cover.

Two nominations at the ADISQ Gala
Matt Holubowski received his very first nominations at the ADISQ Gala this year, for Album of the Year – Anglophone and Tour of the Year – Anglophone. The awards will be presented on October 26th during the Premier Gala de l’ADISQ, live on Télé-Québec.
