James Di Salvio and the folks of Bran Van 3000’s expending famiglia are very pleased to announce today the release of their fourth album, The Garden, and the launch of their new official website.

Yes, the BV Soundsystem has begun a new quest and is exploring uncharted soundscapes. Rooted in the spirit of prog-rock and bangin’ boogie at the same time… The Garden: a virtual place of thought, romance and exaltation. The gang continues to groove, but has turned slightly romantic… Is this growing up?

In addition to long-time friends and established musical partners of the likes of Steve “Liquid” Hawley (MC), Nick Hynes (guitar), Gary MacKenzie (bass and vocals), John Kastner (guitar), Stéphane Moraille (vocals), Sara Johnston (vocals) and EP Bergen (keyboard, programming, vocals), James Di Salvio gleefully shares the spotlight with new voices and collaborators such as Ben Wilkins (chord and brass arrangements, vocals), Shaun “Malicious” Gibbons (MC), Jahsepta (MC), Steeve Khé (vocals), Freddie James (vocals), Francesca Como(vocals), Coco Thompson (vocals), Rafaelle MacKay Smith (vocals), Alexandre Désilets (vocals) and Jean-Guy Grenier (banjo), to only name a few. Cristobal Tapia de Veer and Marc Bell, known as Les Troublemakers, also made an important contribution both as co-producers and musicians.

Extra Feature: The Dubstrumental Version of The Garden

In the Bran Van spirit, and for the love of dance music, an instrumental version of the new album will be made available for free download to the buyers of the first 15,000 hard copies of The Garden. The 15 dub-version tracks are a truly unique ride and can be purchased digitally track by track or as a whole, through the album’s Deluxe edition on Itunes.
